ANGEL STADIUM OF ANAHEIM  (capacity 45,050), Original Name -- Anaheim Stadium

Anaheim, California

Park opened April 1966.  Site of many career milestones that include Rod Carew (8-4-1985) and George Brett’s (9-30-1992) 3000th career hit.  Reggie Jackson hit his 500th career home run on 9-17-1984 and Don Sutton became baseball’s nineteenth 300 game winner on 6-8-1986.  Angel’s captured their first World Series title here in 2002.
