COORS FIELD HISTORY
COORS FIELD
(capacity 50,445)
Denver, Colorado
Park opened April
1995. The combination of
thin air nearly a mile above sea level and low humidity cause the
ballpark to be by far the most hitter-friendly park in the majors.
In 1999 a major league record 303 home runs were hit in this
ballpark. Rookie shortstop
Troy Tulowitski turned the majors twelfth un-assisted regular season
triple play here on 4-29-2007 against Atlanta.
