MILLER PARK

MILLER PARK HISTORY

MILLER PARK  (capacity 41,900)

Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Park opened April 2001.  A unique seven panel retractable roof opens and closes like a fan in about ten minutes.  This helps protect the fans from the cool weather in Wisconsin during the spring and fall.  The 260-acre site around the ballpark was improved through government bonds.   Areas around the park include landscaping and numerous amenities, including a monument to the County Stadium site.  Site of the 2002 All Star game.
