Park opened April 2000.
Located on the northeast side of town outdoor baseball came back
to Houston for the first time since 1964.
A 242-foot high retractable roof protects fans from the summer
heat but also allows the Astros to play on a natural grass surface.
Many fans pass through Union Station on their way to the game.
The old train station is adjacent to the ballpark.
It houses the Team Store, a café, conference rooms and team
offices.
