Oakland, California  

Park opened April 1968.  Coliseum originally opened in 1966 as the home of the NFL Oakland Raiders.  In 1968 the A’s moved from Kansas City and four years later started a string of three straight World Series titles.  The Coliseum has hosted eleven American League Championship Series and six World Series have been played there.  On 5-8-1968 Catfish Hunter pitched a perfect game against Minnesota at the Coliseum.
