PETCO PARK HISTORY

PETCO PARK  (capacity 42,445) - SAN DIEGO, California

Park opened April 2004.  A unique feature is the 98-year-old Western Metals Supply Company Building, which was renovated and incorporated into the ballpark.  The left field foul pole is on the southeastern corner of the building, which also houses the Padres Team Store, two floors of party suites, a restaurant and bleacher seating on the top floor.  The team moved from Qualcomm Stadium, located several miles from downtown San Diego.
