PNC PARK HISTORY
PNC PARK
(capacity 38,946)
Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania
Park
opened April 2001.
Noted for its beautiful look and low
open-air infield stands.
Across the Allegheny River and over the
right field fence is an awesome view of the city skyline.
First permanent facility to seat less than
40,000 fans since County Stadium in Milwaukee.
It is also the first of the newer ballparks
with two decks rather than three.
The highest seat is only 88 feet from the
playing field, giving the park a very cozy atmosphere.
