1994. Pitching for Texas
Kenny Rogers became baseball’s fourteenth perfect game pitcher.
He accomplished this feat in the ballpark’s inaugural season
against California on 7-28-1994.
A four-story office building, baseball museum and a children’s
learning center are located within the ballpark complex.
There is a covered pavilion porch in right field that has pillars
similar to those at Tiger Stadium in Detroit.
