Park opened June 1989.  This multi-purpose stadium is the first to have a fully retractable motorized roof.  The building also has a hotel with 348 rooms, seventy of which look out over the playing field.  Situated near Lake Ontario, in downtown Toronto next to the CN Tower, the stadium offers easy access to Toronto fans of American League baseball and the Canadian Football League Argonauts.
